The Father's Gift To The Son

"And this is the will of Him [Father] who sent Me [Christ], that I should lose nothing of all that He has given Me, but raise it up on the last day." - John 6:39

Christ wasn't shortchanged to the Father on the cross. Christ's death didn't make the possibility of salvation, but definite salvation. Christ didn't die for those who are already in hell or will be heading to hell. All that the atonement of Christ is intended for; all of them are going to heaven, none of them will be lost. Not a single shed blood of Christ was wasted on the cross. Christ triumphantly defeated the death upon calvary's cross thus securing an eternal redemption of all that the Father has given to Him in eternity past.

How'd you know that the Father has given you to His Son before the foundation of the world?

Simply because you have repented and believed the gospel. And if not yet, the message is still the same, "repent and believe the gospel!"

"He who comes to me," Jesus said, "I will in no wise cast out."

"Behold, now is the favorable time;
behold, now is the day of salvation."
- 2 Corinthians 6:2b
