The Trumpeter Of Scotland

2 May 1559 – John Knox returned from exile to launch the Reformation in Scotland.

 

Mary Stuart, Queen of Scots, was heard to declare, trembling and in tears: "I am more afraid of the prayers of John Knox than of an army of 10,000."

 

John Knox’s famous prayer: "Give me Scotland or I die!" 

It was thoroughly answered in his lifetime.
