The God who cares

Like a programmer who built a software on a computer, and after he has done it, he raised his hand signifying he will never interfere whether it's going well or If it has a virus running off of it. He's just at the corner behind the shadow, staring and watching the software alone. That is, brethren, the belief of Deism. A famous affiliation in the 18th century where the idea that after a Divine being created this world, he does not interact in it nor he is in control of it.

What a hopeless creature we are if that is so.
But praise be to God, for that's not the god who created this world. That's not the god that we worship. That's not the god who created us after His own image. That's not the god who saved our perishing souls. That's not the god who will dwell with us someday. And that god certainly does not exist.

Our God cares.
He intervenes over His creation (Daniel 2:21).
He established His throne in the heavens and His kingdom rules over all (Psalm 103:19).
He appointed the beginning and the end, His purpose will stand forever (Isaiah 46:10).

In short, our God is SOVEREIGN! Everlastingly seated upon His throne, never for a second left His throne. He reigns alone!
As what Steven Lawson said:

"The LORD reigns — not Satan, not man, not God and man, not good luck, not bad luck, not random events, not chance occurrences, not the alignment of the stars, not accidents, not blind fate, not good or bad karma — only God, and God alone."

The Lord reigns!
He alone reigns over your lives.
He alone reigns over this pandemic.
He alone reigns over His creation.
He holds this world in the palm of His hands.

O faint-hearted Christian, cheer up!
The One who named all the stars cares for us.
