Holy Spirit's Role

"Mark it down: the Holy Spirit glorifies Christ. I'll go one step further: If the Holy Spirit is being emphasized and magnified, He isn't in it! Christ is the One who is glorified when the Spirit is at work. He does this behind the scenes, never in the limelight." 

When spiritual gifts, miraculous power, or promises of health and wealth are put front and center, the focus is directed away from Jesus Christ. That kind of diversion is not the Holy Spirit's doing.
