The Kind of People Christ Saves

Everyone is a sinner, but not everyone knows that they are sinners. Everyone is a sinner, but not everyone acknowledges that they are sinners.

“If you're not a sinner,” Joel Beeke said, “you have a good argument to stay away from Jesus. But if you are a sinner, you have no excuse. Come to Him.”

There is only one kind of person that Jesus Christ came to save, sinners. He does not save good people, only lost ones (Luke 19:10).

He said to the Pharisees in Mark 2:17, ”Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.”

Heaven is for sinners who are made righteous.
Hell is for sinners who are self-righteous.
