“Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.” – Matthew 7:13-14
I dreamed of a dream, and behold, I saw a man in the country of James, a faceless man reading a book that glistened on his face. He's without a face, but not with his own sight. Every time he looks at himself in a mirror he sees his natural face. The seductive beauty of the young man is like Narcissus, as he described his face. But not the way his neighbours see it.
In my dream, I saw the eyes of his neighbours staring creepily at the young man: "Hypocrite! Hypocrite! Hypocrite!" The screams of their eyes sounded like. He was not aware. He didn't notice. The lion roared right around his ears, but he did not hear it. He was too busy thinking about his face. Another world, it's like he's in another world, and he only cares about his face.
In my dream, I saw myself approaching the young man, and out of curiosity I asked him, "Why don't you have a face?" To which he replied, "You must be dreaming, my friend. How can you not see this lovely face?" He pats me on the back with the Book he has with him. "Where are you going?" I asked. "I'm going to read this book, see you soon!" he replied. And we parted ways. My curiosity grew even more. Was he kidding? It was a never ending thought going through my mind, how come that man has no face.
In my dream, a Person came to me, "Helper," He called Himself. Immediately I asked Him, "what is happening to this young man?" He replied, "The Book he holds is the most precious Book there is, but he does not have that Book in his heart, nor has he possessed Me in his soul. He hears about the Book but he doesn't do what it says in the Book. He knows about the Book, but he knows nothing about the Author of the Book."
