Traffic Light Encounter

Green ...

Yellow...

Red...

Like the sound of an old clock alone in a room, my heart was trembling and it goes faster than I could ever imagine as I looked on another side. Yeah.. it was you. Your smile, your damn laugh, and your untroubled expression defeated my feelings once more. You looked happy there as if you own the world and the world owes something bigger infinity on you. Finally! It hits me on the head, It never changes. It never changes like a time traveler trapped in a one big loophole cycle. It never changes. It was at that moment that I knew I screwed up. No matter how hard I fought it, it's just too strong. I'm not capable of resisting something big like that, and it was my pleasure. I was both sad and happy there, still trying to figure out how on earth could that be.

You were not the type of girl that would make guys look back as you passed by, you were not the type of girl that would stand up on a bunch of girls but the good news is.... you don't have to.

Red...

Yellow...

Green...

I worked up my courage and tried turning around. You didn't. A tenth of a second felt like forever. Then I turned back and hurried onwards, but I turned back again for two or three seconds. You didn't. It's like you and I were on a different wavelength.

I guess I was an open book all along... an open book that would never turn its pages.

It was the longest... It was probably the longest traffic light encounter I've ever been to.
